Do you remember the recent crazy invasion of capybaras from Kazan? Residents of the city found these creatures everywhere: on outdoor advertisements, in parks, and even in the Kazanka River as a catch. City dwellers debated online whether the fisherman in the video really caught a capybara, where the water pigs came from, and who actually orchestrated the invasion of the little animals.
Insiders have revealed that this is all part of an information campaign in support of the "Games of the Future" by BK "Liga Stavok," the official partner of the event. And the capybara was chosen for a reason β it is the symbol of the "League." At the "Games of the Future," capybaras won't be forgotten either: active participants will receive plush branded water pigs as gifts. The first lucky owners have already been spotted at the event.
As part of the event, "Liga Stavok" will hold digital-physical martial arts competitions. Fighters will compete in a virtual universe on consoles and participate in real MMA fights in the octagon. Additionally, the League has organized competitions in digital-physical hockey in a gaming simulator and on the ice of a real arena.
The "Games of the Future" kicked off on February 19 in Kazan β it is a multi-sport show featuring competitions in both physical and digital formats. Among the participants, there are already 2,000 athletes from 300 teams across 100 countries. The official opening of the games will take place on February 21, but the group stages of the tournaments in digital-physical hockey and video games have already occurred. A total of 21 disciplines will be covered in the competitions. The event will last until March 3.
The tournament in Kazan will be the largest ever held in digital-physical sports. Organizers promise 21 disciplines, over two thousand participants, and a total prize pool of 10 million dollars.
